We Search People are working with an excellent General Contractor based in Jersey City, NJ looking for a Project Manager to join the team. The company specializes in renovations and interiors of apartments & condos in the city.

Responsibilities

• Working with the safety team to make sure all job sites are running up to local standards
• Make sure job sites are clean and tidy at all times
• Checking the quality of work to make sure it's up to company standards
• Setting a great example for all crew working on each project
• Daily reports on how projects are going
• Making sure all projects are running on time to the best standard you can
• Provide technical expertise to junior members of the team
• Working closely with the Project Management team
• Communicating with sub-contractors and the Owner
• Attend management meetings
• Ability to multi-task and run more than 1 project at a time
• Run projects from concept to completion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Construction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 5-10+ years in a similar position
• Competent with Computer software (Microsoft & timberline)
• Experience managing site-safety
