The Position

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, design, and construction of healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare construction, compliance with healthcare regulations, and experience managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Design Coordination:

    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, architects, engineers, and consultants to develop project plans.
    • Ensure designs meet healthcare industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  2. Budget and Cost Management:

    • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
    • Evaluate bids, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement of materials and services.
  3. Schedule Management:

    • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion.
    • Coordinate with all stakeholders to avoid project delays and minimize disruptions to ongoing healthcare operations.
  4. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including healthcare-specific codes and standards.
    • Manage inspections and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  5. Team Leadership and Coordination:

    • Lead cross-functional project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and internal staff.
    • Provide clear communication, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  6. Quality Assurance and Safety:

    • Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of construction.
    • Enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  7. Stakeholder Communication:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
    • Facilitate meetings, presentations, and reports to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  8. Risk Management:

    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Address unforeseen issues promptly to keep the project on track.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is desirable
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on healthcare facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare facility regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
