About the Role
Our client, a premier builder of custom homes in the region, is seeking a skilled Estimator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for high-quality residential construction. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, collaborating with the project team, and helping to ensure smooth project delivery from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for residential construction projects.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and subcontractors to determine scope of work and material requirements.
• Review blueprints, plans, and specifications to develop detailed and precise cost breakdowns.
• Provide cost analysis and recommendations to project managers and clients to ensure budget alignment.
• Track project costs throughout the construction process, monitoring for discrepancies and providing updates as needed.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and reliable services.

About You:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in residential construction, with a strong knowledge of building materials, construction processes, and cost estimation.
• Familiarity with blueprints, plans, and construction specifications.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in cost estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
