Position Overview
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that residential home-building projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and the internal team to deliver exceptional results that reflect the company’s reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of residential construction projects, from pre-construction to final delivery.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and workflows to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, subcontractors, and vendors to meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
- Oversee procurement of materials and manage relationships with suppliers.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in residential construction project management.
- Strong understanding of home building processes, materials, and best practices.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Procore).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and problem-solve under pressure.
- Knowledge of Vermont building codes and local regulations is a plus.
