Position Overview

We are working with a premier custom home builder in McLean, VA, they are seeking an experienced and highly organized Field Superintendent to oversee the on-site execution of custom residential builds. The ideal candidate brings a passion for quality, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a deep understanding of the complexities involved in high-end construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations on luxury residential projects
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field staff
• Ensure strict adherence to plans, specifications, budgets, and timelines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant job site
• Communicate proactively with project managers, architects, designers, and clients
• Identify and resolve on-site challenges to avoid delays and maintain quality
• Conduct regular inspections to uphold the highest standards of workmanship

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in residential construction, with a minimum of 3 years in high-end or custom home building
• Proven track record of delivering luxury homes on time and within budget
• Deep understanding of building codes, inspections, and construction methods
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in project management tools, scheduling software, and mobile reporting platforms
• OSHA certification and a valid driver’s license required
