Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and support jobsite superintendents and internal tradespeople in planning manpower and allocating heavy equipment across projects.
- Participate in project turnover meetings to define scope, responsibilities, and division of work (self-performed vs subcontracted).
- Conduct weekly superintendent meetings to assess progress, update schedules, review work plans, and mitigate potential execution risks.
- Enforce production standards for self-performed work and track productivity to inform the preconstruction team.
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, and inter-trade activities through weekly strategic meetings with senior field leadership.
- Uphold company-wide safety and quality standards in coordination with the Director of Construction and shop leadership.
- Ensure equipment readiness and jobsite tool logistics by working closely with the in-house shop team.
Leadership & Mentorship:
- Mentor superintendents, engineers, and tradespeople—supporting training, career growth, and performance evaluation.
- Drive workforce development initiatives including competency mapping, training programs, and retention strategies.
- Lead the rollout of new standard operating procedures across the field operations team.
- Step in to cover superintendent responsibilities when needed to maintain continuity on critical projects.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 10+ years in contract management and field operations for civil/building construction.
- 3–5 years of team leadership experience at a divisional level.
- Experience with new builds, retrofits, site work, utilities, excavation, and cast-in-place concrete.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Strong command of construction scheduling, safety practices, and quality control procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Outlook, and other industry-standard tools.
