Project Manager – Commercial / Multifamily

The Position

We're partnered with a nationally recognized, market-leading real estate investor, developer, and operator of mixed-use communities. They're looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their growing construction and development team in Fort Worth, Texas.

This organization develops and operates high-quality, differentiated multifamily and commercial projects across the United States. This is a great opportunity for a construction professional who enjoys managing projects from preconstruction through completion while working closely with development, design, and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support commercial and multifamily developments through all phases including preconstruction, construction, closeout, and occupancy
  • Provide day-to-day management, coordination, and oversight of construction activities while representing ownership interests
  • Participate in design development and preconstruction planning to ensure scope clarity and constructability
  • Review and coordinate construction documents and specifications
  • Manage project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and monthly cost projections
  • Oversee change management processes including pricing review, negotiation, and coordination with project stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including milestone tracking and updates
  • Manage document control including submittals, RFIs, drawings, specifications, meeting minutes, and closeout documentation
  • Support contract administration including scope development, contract negotiation, and compliance
  • Manage general contractors, consultants, vendors, and other third-party partners throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate municipal approvals, permitting, and regulatory requirements
  • Reinforce project safety initiatives and ensure OSHA compliance across project teams

Requirements

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, primarily focused on project management within commercial real estate development
  • Experience with tilt-wall construction required
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, budgeting, scheduling, and project delivery
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and scheduling software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project
  • OSHA 30 Certification required
