Business Development Manager

We are working with a highly respected nationwide General Contractor on a key hire for their Dallas-Fort Worth team as they continue to expand their project footprint across North Texas.

The Role

You will be joining an established, national leader that provides a full range of professional construction services, covering everything from commercial projects to complete property renovations and interior/exterior transformations. This firm has built a stellar reputation for exceptional workmanship and customer relations in a rapidly growing and ever-changing market.

This role gives real ownership of the regional growth strategy, working directly with the executive leadership team to identify, track, and secure new project opportunities. You'll be the face of the company in North Texas, building long-term relationships with commercial owners, asset managers, developers, and investment groups to ensure the firm is the go-to partner for their construction and modernization programs.

What You'll Be Doing

• Sourcing, identifying, and qualifying new commercial construction, property renovation, and modernization opportunities across the DFW metroplex
• Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of active relationships with commercial clients, property owners, asset managers, and real estate investors
• Leading the early-stage positioning strategy for proposals, working hand-in-hand with the estimating and preconstruction teams
• Partnering with clients to understand their long-term project pipelines and positioning the firm to secure negotiated work
• Representing the company at key regional industry networking events, real estate associations, and trade functions
• Maintaining accurate pipeline data on accounts and pursuit statuses to give leadership a clear picture of future regional revenue

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of dedicated business development experience specifically within the commercial construction or commercial real estate sectors
• A proven track record of helping a General Contractor or construction services firm secure negotiated commercial projects or property modernizations
• An active, referenceable network of local DFW commercial developers, property owners, asset managers, and real estate decision-makers
• A strong understanding of the construction lifecycle, project delivery methods, and the mechanics of real estate asset management
• A highly collaborative, professional approach - comfortable managing sales cycles and building genuine, trust based partnerships

The Package

• Starting base salary of $125,000 to $135,000 depending on experience
