Construction Estimator - Commercial

Our client is an award winning, family owned general contractor, specializing in commercial projects such as education, multifamily, healthcare, senior living, K-12 etc.

They are on the lookout for an experienced Estimator to join them on a permanent basis. The right candidate MUST have commercial experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and proposals to determine scope and requirements.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
• Maintain cost databases and historical records to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial construction estimator.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
