We Search People are looking for a senior level construction professional to join our client based in Williamsburg, VA.

They are a very well established, award winning Design Builder & General Contractor, who are offering a long-term permanent position working within an excellent culture. This role is paying an excellent basic salary in addition to a generous benefits package and bonus.

Our client are a very well established and respected General Contractor with offices & project locations throughout the USA. They specialize within the Industrial & Commercial markets working on projects that include Retail, Warehouses, Cold Storage facilities, Data Centres & more.

They have won multiple awards for their exceptional projects delivered and their leadership within the industry.

THE ROLE

Our client are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent who has worked on projects within Manufacturing & Industrial verticals.

The successful candidate must be professional, integrity-minded, and a personable leader committed to the overall objective and self-development within the company.

REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum 5 years of previous Construction Site Management experience required

· 4 year degree in Construction Management or related field or equivalent work experience required

· Experience of managing large Industrial or Manufacturing projects

· Knowledge and certifications on safety standards and OSHA, with a minimum of 10-hour certification required

· Knowledge of blueprint reading and the ability to follow and implement details as shown on plans

· Experience with managing teams & subcontractors required
