Head Of Construction

We've partnered with a leading commercial General Contractor in Columbus seeking an experienced Head of Construction to join their senior leadership team and oversee major commercial projects across the region.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a construction professional who thrives in a strategic role and has a proven track record managing large-scale commercial projects, leading senior teams, and driving business development.

NOTE: Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead construction operations across multiple project teams
• Oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Manage Project Executives, Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, architects, and engineering firms
• Support business development, RFP presentations, and client meetings
• Help win CM, CMR, and Design-Build projects
• Contribute to preconstruction strategy and pursuit planning
• Drive quality, safety, performance, and team development across all projects

Requirements

Essential:

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience
• Background in ground-up commercial, mixed-use, or multifamily construction
• Experience delivering projects ranging from $20M to $150M+
• Proven leadership experience managing senior project teams
• Strong client-facing and business development skills
• Open to relocation to Columbus, OH (assistance available)
