The Position

Construction Superintendent – Industrial, Commercial & Hospitality Projects (Bilingual – Spanish/English)

Location:  Dallas, Texas (DFW Metroplex)


Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for industrial, commercial, and hospitality construction projects in the Dallas area. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in managing complex job sites, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring high-quality project delivery while maintaining strong client relationships. Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential for this role.


Key Responsibilities:

Site Management

  • Oversee all day-to-day site operations including subcontractor coordination, equipment logistics, and material deliveries.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and construction plans.
  • Conduct daily site walks, job hazard analyses, and enforce safety procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations.

Client & Stakeholder Interaction

  • Serve as the primary on-site representative for the client and project stakeholders.
  • Lead and participate in client meetings, walkthroughs, inspections, and coordination efforts with architects, engineers, and inspectors.
  • Deliver clear and consistent updates to clients, internal teams, and vendors.

Project Documentation & Controls

  • Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, inspection records, RFIs, and change order documentation.
  • Support Project Manager with cost tracking, subcontractor invoicing, and change management processes.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with applicable building codes and specifications.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and direct subcontractors, laborers, and field staff to maintain project productivity and safety.
  • Mentor assistant superintendents or junior field staff as needed.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative jobsite culture.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with industrial, commercial, or hospitality construction projects (ground-up and/or renovations).
  • Must be bilingual – fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Proficient in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and inspection processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades on fast-paced job sites.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification (Required)
  • First Aid / CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (Preferred)
