Assistant Superintendent

Job Opening: Assistant Superintendent – Rehab Construction (Residential & Multifamily)
Location: Austin, TX
 

The Assistant Superintendent will support the Superintendent and Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations across multiple rehab projects. This emphasis on this position will be on liaising with the customers and making sure that they are satisfied with the work and clear on what the schedule is. The work spans small to medium-scale rehabs, often involving occupied units, fast turnarounds, and detailed project management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily on-site supervision of subcontractors and labor crews
• Help manage project schedules and monitor progress
• Perform quality control checks and punch list management
• Coordinate material deliveries and jobsite logistics
• Communicate regularly with superintendents, project managers, and clients
• Assist with documentation, reporting, and project closeout tasks
• Be on-site and ready to adapt to dynamic project needs in both residential and multifamily settings

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in residential or multifamily construction (rehab/renovation experience a plus)
• Ability to read construction documents and scopes of work
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficient with basic construction tech tools (Procore, Buildertrend, MS Office, etc.)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
