Superintendent – Student Living Project (Central Austin)

About the Project:
We’re seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site construction for a new student living development in the heart of Austin. This flagship project will deliver high-quality, modern student accommodation with a focus on community, sustainability, and design excellence.

Role Overview:
As the Superintendent, you will oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring the project is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll coordinate daily field operations, manage subcontractors, and serve as the key link between the project team, design professionals, and ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day construction operations and site logistics.

• Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.

• Lead coordination between trades and ensure adherence to project schedules.

• Monitor safety compliance and uphold company and OSHA standards.

• Work closely with the Project Manager to manage cost, quality, and timelines.

• Conduct regular site meetings, inspections, and progress reports.

• Resolve field-related challenges efficiently and proactively.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5–10 years’ experience as a Superintendent on student housing or multifamily projects.

• Proven ability to review and coordinate complex plans and technical drawings.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Solid understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.

• Proficient in construction management software and scheduling tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project).

• OSHA certification preferred.
