Project Manager/APM

We're partnered with a well-established custom builder in central Houston seeking an experienced Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager (they're open to either) to join their growing team.

This is a great opportunity for a construction professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a proven track record managing high-end custom residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage custom residential builds from preconstruction through closeout
• Coordinate with Superintendents and project teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Oversee project schedules, budgets and quality standards
• Communicate with clients, architects and subcontractors throughout the build process
• Manage procurement, submittals and RFIs
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Support business development and client relationship management

Requirements

Essential:

• 3+ years of experience in residential construction or custom homebuilding
• Background managing custom builds (typical projects around $2M and 5,000 sq ft)
• Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience working with high-end clients and delivering quality craftsmanship

• Familiarity with construction software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar preferred)
